Description

Steaga (Styga, in greek Στύγα) is mountain tea liqueur with organic Greek mountain tea (variety of Sideritis) , grown in the area of the UNESCO Geopark of Helmos-Vouraikos. An aromatic sugar-free liqueur inspired by the “Waters of Styga” geosite. The sweet taste of the liqueur derives from the agave syrup.

The myth states that Thetis, the mother of Achilles, dipped him in the waters of the River Styx, holding him by the heel to make him invulnerable, resulting in him not coming into contact with the sacred waters. Thus, his heel became his only vulnerable spot, which remained in history as the “Achilles’ heel.”
